About the restaurant:
Good enough ambience with attentive staff and reasonably-priced desserts. The staff were understanding enough that people go there just for desserts, and were very willing to allow sharing of food. I found myself pulling the supposedly-shared plate closer to myself as the cute round cake was undergoing it's two-sided eclipse.
Ordered Food:
Pineapple Upside-down Cake
My verdict:
The place has cosy lighting and chairs, setting the mood perfectly for conversation the few times I was there. Nice place to sit down and while a weekday afternoon away; or to have a quick after-dinner dessert before heading on home. The Pineapple Upside-down Cake was my dessert of choice. Having stumbled upon it against my will (my dessert partner was allergic to chocolate, that poor soul). Soft and milky, the cake was a perfect complement to the warm, slightly-tangy pineapple on top (or bottom, epending which side is up). Definately on my list of to-visit-again dessert places.
